PREFACE

With the growth of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saint in the Spanish-speaking world, more and more English-speaking Latter-Day Saints find themselves in situations requiring them to understand and talk about Gospel concepts in Spanish, which is rapidly becoming one of the most widely-spoken languages in the Church. 
Con el crecimiento de la Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Últimos Días en el mundo de habla hispana, cada vez más Santos de los Últimos Días de habla inglesa se encuentran en situaciones que requieren que comprendan y hablen sobre los conceptos del Evangelio en español, lo que se está acelerando rápidamente convirtiéndose en uno de los idiomas más hablados en la Iglesia. 

This booklet is prepared for use by missionaries, Church officials, tourist, student, persons living abroad, businessmen and and all others who have the need or desire to function in an LDS environment in Spanish. 
Este folleto está preparado para que lo usen misioneros, funcionarios de la Iglesia, turistas, estudiantes, personas que viven en el extranjero, hombres de negocios y todos los demás que tengan la necesidad o el deseo de funcionar en un entorno SUD en español.

It is also intented as a supplement for use in Spanish classes with Spanish textbooks which are not oriented to Church situations.
También tiene la intención de ser un complemento para su uso en las clases de español con libros de texto en español que no estén orientados a situaciones de la Iglesia.
